I have kinown my cousin since birth.He lost his mother before he was even a year old.She passed away on his first Christmas Eve. His grandmoter and grandfather raised him.He was a very hard working person who had some tough breaks in hid life.I am sure he will now get to be with his mother in Heaven.

Today, February 28, is the date of Floyd's memorial service. The calendar entry for today on my little Scriptural calendar at home is so pertinent that I wanted to share it:
"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. (MT 5:4)
This passage lifts us up as we mourn Floyd's passing, and as we celebrate his life and its fruit.

As a classmate of Floyd's from Parsippany Central School (Class of '52) and Boonton High (Class of '56) I was saddened to read of his passing. I always remember Floyd as a kind, smiling, quiet guy. I also remember when he and Pat French were the King & Queen of Mt. Tabor's Children's Day, way back when.
Rest in peace Floyd. I'm sure you will be deeply missed.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Floyd in the course of my leading a fellowship group in Newton, and I have appreciated his friendship as well as that of Diane and Miranda. I was interested to read in the obituary of Floyd's past work and associations, especially his church association in Mt. Tabor.
He was a good and humble man who knew the Lord, and I will miss him. I take comfort that he is enjoying perfect health and the joy of being with the Lord and the other saints in Heaven.

Floyd, I'm so terribly glad to have known both you and Sue.I'll cherish the fun times we all had at the Morris Plains Lanes. Thank you for making such beautiful children, Dave and Lorrie are cherished by my son whom they have grown up with, gone to school with, and today are still best of friends.I'm also so thankful and happy you got to see your beautiful grand daughter Isabel, this was Daves wish.My heart goes out to your family and we extend our deepest condolences to all.
