I had the privilege of working for Lou at the United Nations upon my college graduation. She was a lovely lady who was dedicated, kind and sharp. I wish I had thanked her profusely back then. It's amazing how we remember people, how they pop into our heads for some reason at different intervals. It's important to acknowledge people whether they have moved onto the spirit world or not. Jennifer S. Roth, 42nd GA Session, DPI, English Press Section, United Nations.

It is with great sorrow that I learned late last night of the passing of Lou. I worked with Lou at the UN for many years. She was a dear colleague and we shared many work experiences and had many lunches together over the years. May you find comfort in the peace she now enjoys.

Dear Aquiles, Deanna, Aileen and Valerie,
My prayers are with you during this difficult time.
I hope it will comfort you to know that so many of us share your grief. Lou's spirit lingers on us - the living especially those who have been blessed with her presence and friendship (me in particular) as a classmate (HS at STC), a distant neighbor, (I used to live in Lk.Hiawatha) and as a member of the St. Peter's Parish Church and the school, where my daughter attended.Like all her HS-STC classmates, I will surely miss her. In the past few years we all have enhanced this friendship each time we meet for our yearly reunion.
God bless.
