Truely sad news. I was a little late in getting the notice as we are still in Japan but we would like to pass our condolences to the family. The older I get, and closer to the end of life than the beginning, the harder these types of things are on me and my wife. I would prefer to remember Cousin Russ as the happy, jovial and out going person that he was. In our family he stood proud and was a good guy. All we now have are the memories of Russ, and for me they were all very good. God bless to you all.

There are so many things I would like to list here....all the memories we had with Russ. He loved coming to Maryland for vacations. What fun we had!! We were a bunch of care-free kids. Sorry to miss his services as we are in Ft. Myers, Florida until May. We are thinking of you all and send our sincere love.

Russ,You were a great cousin and a very hororable and talented person . Unfortunately we cannot make decisions as to what fate we have only one person can do that . The world is a lonelier place today without Russell's smile and his music.

May God see your family through this. Russ was a dear friend and colleague of all of us at Mercedes-Benz USA. We're so happy that we got to celebrate with him at his retirement party one year ago. Russ was showered with love and knew it. He sang some songs with our band and did a beautiful duet with his daughter.

Everything posted so far fits my sentiments to a tea. Russ is smoothing the path for the rest of us. I have so many happy memories of him - each summer when the Drews left Indiana to vacation with our East Coast family, Mike and I always tried to get to stay with the Morans. Those vacations will last in my memories forever. I thank the Lord for Russ and offer my loving prayers for you Ester, Jamie and family, Mickey and Kathy, Jeanne and the entire family.
