I love this picture of Joan. It's a perfect reminder of her beauty, both inside and out. The hint of a smile and the twinkle in her eye bring back wonderful memories. Joan was always ready to smile. She had such a peaceful, easy-going spirit about her. She loved people and was always serving others. A peacemaker, Joan looked for the best in others and sought to promote love and harmony among her family and friends. Tender-hearted and gentle, she modeled agape love. When I think of Joan, the following verse comes to mind: "May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else." 1 Thessalonians 3:12 Truly, Joan encouraged others to love abundantly. It has been a privilege and a blessing to know her.
