Jean was a kind and always enjoyable person to visit with. One simple but touching memory I have with her was once mentioning to her granddaughter that a houseplant in our college dorm was growing weeds, and Jean volunteered to work her green thumb magic, saving our beloved plant. I admire her lifetime of service to others, and send all my love to her family.
