Dear Edward and Family, Our thoughts and love are with you as you go through the experience of your loss. In a very unique way a wife and mother represent home in life much more than than the house or community. "Going home" or "Coming home" won't be quite the same ever again for all of you.
The last four-five years were a tough and long road to walk for Louise. You stood by her, loved, cared for, and encouraged her. That period in her life and your lives is now completed. As children of God we all can now sing the Easter song, "The strife is o'er, the battle done, the victory of life is won, the song of triumph has begun."
Elisabeth and I shall cherish the memory of our last visit with you in your home when Louise whipped up a special dinner for all of us in no time, and we then spent a long evening in conversation with the family.

It was a joy,blessing,privelage and honor to have Louise in my life. It was my pleasure and honor to be able to participate in her daily rituals. We became very fond of each other and in doing so I was able to learn bits and pieces of her life and had come to realize what a remarkable woman, mother,wife and friend she was to everyone. She will so be missed in my heart always and I will forever love her and be grateful that she was apart of my life. My Louiseeeeeeeee, may you rest in peace my love.

I have fond memories of my Great Aunt Louise and I like all will miss her, my sympathies to her children and husband Ed. Having just visited them a month back and Ed telling the story of how he met Louise, I am conforted with the idea that while you all are passing through this time of grief it will be a short trip. Soon it will be replaced with warm feelings one has when refrelcting back on all of the cherished memories you have with her.

I just had a vivid recollection of Mom watching the Celtics play on the TV and when Larry Bird would score she'd slap her knee and exclaim "YES!!, that's the way to do it Bird " with a big grin, and much clapping.

My Aunt Louise traveled the dusty Alcan Highway to Alaska with our family in 1954, in our 1954 Chevy CarryAll.
We visited back and forth with Louise in those years when she was in Alaska, and she was a personal connection to those of you back in New Jersey, especially for my mother Katy.
I remember her playing and singing old sea chanties on the piano in her housing on the Fort Richardson military base near Anchorage, and those stirring renditions have stayed with me ever since.
With fond appreciation, here's to Aunt Louise...

I'll stay no more on England's shore,

Your spirit lives on!
My condolences, on behalf of myself and Lee Anna, Richard, Becky, and Peter, go to Uncle Ed and all our cousins and those who knew Louise. We are so glad that we were able to see and visit with her in September, after these many years.
