My daughter is autistic and I first met Sue when Kris was put in-district for 5th grade at Woodmont. Sue was the president of the parent organization there and a very wonderful and helpful person. I saw her subsequently as the secretary for special ed. Sue was always friendly and helpful.I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. Once again this world has lost a bright point of light. I'm so very sorry to hear about Sue's passing. My sister Gail and I grew up with Sue and Laura (Ra). Lorraine and my mother Sylvia were best friends growing up. We always had fun when we got together as young girls. Sue was always laughing and smiling and very kind. My prayers are with all of you.

My heart is broken for your family & the loss of a wonderful friend.
Sue was a special person, loving, kind, thoughtful and strong. I will never forget all the fun and "laughs" we had playing golf and on vacations. Sue has left us with great memories that we will always talk about.

To the Speciale Family, Sue was one of the first people I met when I came to the PBFD Auxiliary many years ago. She was one of the kindest ,sweetest, loving and most giving people that I have had the privledge to meet in my entire life. Her loving heart was always right and pure. She always did the right thing for and by all. No partiality. Her patience was endless as I learned my jobs at the Auxiliary. God bless her. She was a walking angel right here on Earth.I am sure that she has a seat way up front at the banqueting table and is leading the Heavenly choir even as I speak. Her life was magnificent testimony of love. She truly earned her wings, May she now rest in eternal peace with The Lord. Her battle was both valiant and courageous. It is most difficult to place in words the feelings to have lost such a wonderful friend and quintessential woman. Her patience, kindness and charitable endeavors helped so many. Having an aunt as beautiful as Susan Speciale is hard to come by. She was like a second mother to my sister and I. Dear Tony, Anthony, Danielle, and Deanna,
Heaven has truly gained an angel. While I know that Sue is at peace and free from suffering, my heart is broken for your family and for the loss we all suffer. I can not find the words to express my deep sorrow over losing such a wonderful friend, but I know my heart will always hold a special place for Sue.
The world was a better place having Sue as a part of it. She was honest, genuine, fun-loving and down right hysterical. She loved her family and friends deeply. I am fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to work beside Sue, at Lazar, for the past seven years. I would teasingly refer to her as my "Work Mama" who was always imparting her wisdom and advice even when she knew I was only "yesing" her…as she would often call me out on. I love that we would crack up over the silliest of things: She had the best laugh! It's a laugh I will never forget. No matter how busy, Sue would find a way to give her undivided attention. She always knew exactly what to say and we would laugh when I would question which one of us was the psychologist. Sue made every single day better. She has tried effortlessly to teach me not to sweat the small stuff and to stop being such a perfectionist. Ironic though, have you ever known Sue to cut a corner? I imagine she is one of the most dedicated and hard working people I will ever know.
I will really miss Sue, but I will hold these memories close to my heart and she will live on forever through them. I like to believe that the stars in the sky are really all of our loved ones looking down on us and that Sue will always be watching over us and guiding us just as she has done in life. I will continue to pray for your family during this most difficult time and when you feel like falling from the weight of your sorrow, I you're your good memories with Sue will give you the wings you need to fly.

I still can't believe such a vibrant and vivacious woman was taken so soon. She had an incredible smile and was always so positive.
