Obituary of RITA O'DOWD ROMANOWSKI

Rita (nee O'Dowd) Romanowski died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, February 26, 2013 at Morristown Medical Center. She was 83. Born in Caldwell, she had lived most of her life in the Pine Brook section of Montville Township before moving to East Hanover in 1992. Mrs. Romanowski had worked as an accounting clerk with Einstein Moomjy in Pine Brook for 19 years, retiring in 1994. She was an active, longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society, Lazarus and Martha ministries, and was a volunteer with the Food Pantry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Romanowski and a sister, Rosemary Schmitt. Survivors include her three daughters, Ellen Romanowski of East Hanover, Jeanne Giaquinto and her husband Michael of Pine Brook, and Susan Siciliano and her husband Paul of Barnegat; a brother, Joseph Martin O'Dowd; and five grandchildren, Edward, Andrew, Jake, Patrick, and Kaitlin.
