Obituary of CESAR FERRI
Major Cesar Ferri was called home to Home to his Heavenly Father whom he loved and served so faithfully. He was 91.
Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, to the late Corado and Violeta (Pinardi) Ferri, he immigrated to the United States, settling in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He later lived in New York, NY and Bloomingdale, NJ before coming to Hopatcong, NJ thirteen years ago.
Mr. Ferri accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He had served as a Pastor with the Salvation Army for over 26 years. He served as a Regional Welfare Secretary, Finance Officer and Financial Secretary with the Puerto Rico and Virgin Island Division from 1969-1982. He later served as a Finance Secretary, Regional Business Administrator and Divisional Secretary with the Greater New York Divison until his retirement in 1995.
Preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Cladis N (nee DePaulo) Ferri and his sister, Claudina Ferri; he is survived by his beloved daughter, Martha Ferri-Della Sala of Hopatcong; and two grandchildren, Rachel Della Sala and Dustin Della Sala.
