Mary Luz Londono Amaya passed away Friday, March 18, 2022 at St. Clare's Hospital Denville Campus, Denville NJ following a year-long battle with cancer. She was 37 years old.
Born in Medellin, Colombia, she immigrated to the United States in 2000, settling in South Carolina. She became a resident of the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany in 2021.
Ms. Londono Amaya worked as a housekeeper with the Sussex County Community College, Newton, NJ.
Survivors include her loving mother, Luz Marina Amaya Flores of Lake Hiawatha; and a dear brother, Jorge Ivan Londono Amaya of Colombia. She was preceded in death by a brother, Claudio Patrice Londono Amaya.
At the family's request, arrangements were held privately.
