Obituary of ELIZABETH ANNE CARIFI

Elizabeth Anne Carifi  of Parsippany, NJ passed away on March 23, 2022 at the age of 77.  She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Clausen. 

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Ozone Park, NY and later in Floral Park, NY.  She was a graduate of The Mary Louis Academy High School (Queens, NY) and the College of Notre Dame of Maryland where she earned a degree in education. 

She taught at Riverdale Hills Elementary (MD) and the Stoney Brook Elementary School (NJ).  She was active in her children’s PTA serving as Co-President for two years as well as serving on many committees.  Over the years she was involved in Church activities including teaching religious education.

She is survived by her husband, Gabriel, two children, Sharon Maher (and husband Terry) and Kevin Carifi (and wife Emily), and four grandchildren Ryan, Emma, Olivia and Alyssa.
