Lillian Josephine Hild (nee: Colella) peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the age of 92. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Colella. Born in Orange, NJ, Lillian also lived in Cedar Grove, NJ, South Orange, NJ, Bern Township, PA, and West Orange, NJ. She was a graduate of Orange High School. Lillian was devoted to her loving family. She enjoyed baking, walking, shopping and wrote her own poetry. Lillian was predeceased by her dear husband Roland J. Hild and her beloved son Robert. She is survived by her loving children, daughter Katherine M. Ellett and her husband William and son Roland F. Hild and his wife Doris. Lillian delighted in being a grandmother to Alicia and her husband Matthew, Janet, and Margaret and her husband Brian. Beloved great-grandmother to Nicolas, Amelia, Oliver, Damien, Ellie, Everest and Aspyn. Beloved aunt to Margaret Jane and Ron. Great-aunt Dee-Dee to Katie and Christina Rose. Great-great-aunt to Rosanna Jane. Lillian is also survived by her dear sisters Lucille Colella and Rose Foreso. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 23rd from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at S. J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha. Prayer Service will begin at 11:30. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
