Janice E. Mulligan 78, Parsippany Janice E. Mulligan (nee Hamma) passed away suddenly Monday morning, July 11, 2022 at her home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany. She was 78. Born in Passaic, NJ, Ms. Mulligan was raised in Lyndhurst, and had lived in Rockaway and Dover before coming to Lake Hiawatha over 20 years ago. Ms. Mulligan worked in IT at the Dover General Hospital over 30 years before her retirement. Janice was a poet, mentor to many and an incredible woman whose gentle spirit will be missed. Survivors include her four loving children, Ronald Mulligan of New York, Dorie Mulligan and her significant other, James Anderson Jr. of Belvidere, Edward Mulligan of Franklin, Vicky Mulligan of Lake Hiawatha and Linda Bagdon of Lake Hiawatha; her siblings, Charles Hamma of Stirling, Cathy Paynter of Minnesota, and Peter Hamma of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call Wednesday, July 13, 11:00am-1:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha. A sharing of memories will be at 7:30pm during the visitation. Private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parsippany Volunteer Ambulance Squad would be most appreciated.
