Michael K. Jones, 67, of Bloomfield, NJ, peacefully passed away on August 7th 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was a former resident of Lake Ariel, PA, Bellville NJ, and Kearny NJ. Michael is survived by his dear wife Debbie Robinson (nee Anskin). Beloved father to Jessica Jones and her husband Miguel of Bloomfield, NJ. Step-father to Michael Robinson and Katherine Ruggiero. He is also survived by his daughter's mother Luann Jones. Michael was predeceased by his brother Richard Jones. Michael was a Kearny High School graduate and attended Kean University where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Education. Michael began his professional career as a teacher in Bellville High School and in Queen of Peace Highschool where he taught History and Gymnastics and also coached the wrestling team. Later Michael became a professional wrestler for the WWF / WWE for 12 years. He was a national powerlifting and heavyweight champion. He was most proud of his world record titles for squats and open powerlifting. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday August 12th from 4:00 – 8:00 pm with a memorial service to being at 6:00 pm at S. J.
