I am so sorry to hear this news 2 years too late. I met Dorothy while working at the Lake Hiawatha Library back when we were kids. She was so nice to me when I was the new hire and we hung out often back then. We both will live locally and I would see her out for walks and always wave with a big smile. She was a kind and gentle soul and I wish her eternal peace.

I remember what a devoted Mother Dorothy was to Katherine and also how good she was as a friend to her ex and father of Kathrine (Vin Ferrarelli). She was a very nice person who wanted the best for everyone and deeply caring. She will be missed by many. My Condolences to the entire family and extended friends. Sincerely, Shavaun Pizar

Dorothy and I worked together at the Wayne Board of Education. I enjoyed our chats and will miss her sharp wit and funny stories. I plan to visit the places she liked to talk about - the Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA and Bell's Mansion in Stanhope (where she described the beautiful garden). I'll think of her there and smile.

I met Dorothy when I was 9 years old in a sleepy bungalow colony in Ellenville NY. We became entwined in a way that Polish families tend to do. Summers in Ellenville, turned into Saturdays in Brooklyn at Polish School, which evolved into meeting at the Polish Day Parade in NYC , visits to each others homes and rolling right back into summers in Ellenville. Dorothy played a part in my youth right thru my teens and twenties. Every memory I have of Dorothy is synonymous with FUN. She was the life of every party and we loved her for it and her boundless energy. I am grateful that as adults we never missed wishing each other Happy Birthday or sending holiday wishes. She was a good friend and will be sorely missed. RIP my friend.
