Hem Devi Gupa, 92, of Pinebrook, NJ, peacefully passed away on August 26, 2022. She emigrated to the United States in 1981 and was a previous resident of Newark and East Hanover.
Hem Devi was predeceased by her husband Chandrabhan Gupta in 1996. She is survived by her children Gopal Gupta, of East Hanover NJ, Sant Gupta of Lorton VA, Raghu Gupta of Montville NJ, B.D. Gupta of Swampscott, MA and Mohan Gupta of Freemont CA. Hem Devi is also survived by 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Hemi Devi achieved her PHD in education attending Delhi University and enjoyed her many years spent teaching music.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at S. J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 N. Beverwyck Rd. Lake Hiawatha, NJ 07034. Cremation Service to follow at Rosedale Crematory, Orange, NJ.
