Richard Dominick Albanese passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 8, 2022 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 87.

 

Born in Paterson, NJ, he had lived in Hawthorne, NJ and Bloomfield, NJ before coming to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany-Troy Hills 48 years ago.

 

Mr. Albanese worked as a truck driver with the Pacific Inter-Mountain Express for 40 years, retiring in 1990.

 

An avid hunter, he was also a member of the Parsippany Seniors Club.

 

Survivors include his cherished wife of 51 years, Lynn O. Albanese (nee Wilson); his loving son, Richard E. Albanese of Sarasota, FL.; his beloved grandson, Dr. Dustin Albanese and his wife Kristin, and two grandsons Evan and Miles Albanese all of Cummings, GA.; and three half-sisters, Lorrie Albanese of Chester, NY, Donna Leyden of Toms River, NJ, and Gaenett Harriet of Pompton Lakes, NJ. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
