Obituary of Carolyn R. Lannon

Carolyn R. Lannon (nee Coleman) passed away peacefully Sunday morning, December 11, 2022, one day short of her 101st Birthday, at the Chelsea at Montville.

Born in Orange, NJ, she was a longtime resident of West Orange, NJ, before coming to Montville Township, NJ.

Mrs. Lannon was a devoted mother who lovingly raised three children. She later worked as a secretary for the Town of West Orange for many years, retiring 30 years ago.

An avid dancer, She was a former member of the West Orange Women's Club and Dance Club.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Philip Lannon; a grandson, John Russell Lannon; and her siblings, Shirley Pellecchia, William Coleman, and Rose Fallon; Carolyn is survived by her three beloved children, Virginia "Ginger" Pellecchia and her husband, Ralph of Montville, NJ, John Lannon and his wife, Robyn Singer of Wall, NJ, and David Lannon and his wife Cheryl of Union, NJ; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Pellecchia and his wife, Jennifer, and Dr. Susan Pellecchia and her husband, Dr. Gerasimos Karavitis; and three great-grandchildren, Josie and Jemma Pellecchia, and Areti Karavitis.

At the family's request, the Funeral Mass at St. Pius X and Interment at Rosedale Cemetery, Orange will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, kindly make a memorial gift to your favorite charity.
