Michael Biase passed away Saturday afternoon, February 25, 2023 at home. He was 95. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Michael also lived in Bloomfield then Montville for 50 years before settling in Denville, NJ. He had worked as a truck driver for Ell-Bee Chemical in Hanover, NJ for over 30 years and was previously employed by Ronson manufacturing lighters and Grand Union in the mail department. Michael was an avid Yankees and Giants fan. Survivors include his beloved wife Maria (nee Egnezzo) Biase; two loving sons Michael Biase and his wife Wendy, of Lamberville, NJ and Anthony Biase and his wife Fran of Montville, NJ. Adoring grandfather to Deanna Harkel (Jon), Michael Biase and Stephanie Biase. Cherished great-grandfather to James and Henry. Michael was predeceased by his brothers Phil Biase, Nicholas Biase, Vincent Biase and his sisters Rose Biase and Maryann Biase Visitation will be held on Thursday March 2 from 3:00 – 7:00 pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. Funeral mass will be held on Friday March 3 at 10:00 am at St. Pius X RC Church, Montville. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Heart Association.
