Obituary of Shantaben D. Patel

Shantaben R. Patel passed away peacefully Monday morning, February 27, 2023 at her daughter's home in Rockaway Township surrounded by her family. She was 89.

Born in Boravi, Gujarat, India, she had immigrated to the United States in 1982, settling in Passaic, NJ. She had been a resident of Dover, NJ for the last 25 years.

A homemaker, Mrs. Patel was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and great-grandmother.

Preceded in death by her husband, Dahyabhai K. Patel and five siblings in India; she is survived by her three beloved children, Nilesh D. Patel and his wife, Varsha of Vestal, NY, Nimesh D. Patel and his wife, Rupal whith whom she lived in Dover, NJ, and Ushma B. Patel and her husband, Bhavin of Rockaway Township, NJ, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 2, 2023, 9:00am to 11:00am at Somerset Hills Crematory, 95 Mount Airy Road, Basking Ridge, NJ. Cremation will immediately follow the services.
