Obituary of Roland Apostola

Roland Apostola passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, February 28, 2023 at his Lake Hiawatha, NJ home surrounded by his family. He was 93.

Born and raised in New York, NY, he had come to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany-Troy Hills in 1967.

Mr. Apostola had worked as an elevator mechanic with several companies, primarily the Maintenance Company of New York for many years, retiring 38 years ago.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sophie (nee Kott) in 1999; and his five siblings, Anthony Apostola, Thomas Apostola, John Apostola, George Lambro, and Helen Freund; Roland is survived by his two loving children, Karen Apostola of Lake Hiawatha, and Roy Apostola of San Diego, CA; and many nieces and nephews.
