Dr. Ramesh Patwa peacefully passed away on March 13, 2023. He was 86 years old. A recent resident of Warren, NJ Ramesh previously lived in Woodbury, NY and Manhattan, NY. Dr. Patwa achieved his Medical Doctorate from B.J. Medical College in India. Before retiring in 2002, Ramesh was a general surgeon for over 30 years at H.I.P. Medical Group in Hicksville, NY. Ramesh was an avid photographer and enjoyed photographing landscapes and nature. He was an active member at the Syosset Camera Club for over 30 years. Ramesh enjoyed traveling the world and was proud that he had explored all 7 continents. Ramesh is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Maria Eva Patwa (nee Mercado). Beloved father to Dev Patwa and his wife Amy Patwa of Warren, NJ. Loving grandfather to Ela and Liam. Ramesh is also survived by his three brothers Rajnibhai Patwa, Ajaybhai Patwa, and Sameerbhai Patwa. He was predeceased by two sisters, Pushpaben Kothari and Padmaben Patwa. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 16, 2023 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at S. J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service 60 N. Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ 07034. Cremation to follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge, NJ for immediate family.
