Angelina (nee Girgenti) Rizzolo, known to all as "Angie" passed away Saturday evening at her home in the Towaco section of Montville Township surrounded by her family. She was 94.Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Mrs. Rizzolo was a resident of Bloomfield before coming to Towaco in 2000.Mrs. Rizzolo had worked as a legal secretary with the Harry J. Stevens Law Firm in her younger years. She subsequently spent her time lovingly raising her family.Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard V. Rizzolo Jr in 2013; and her siblings, Silvio Girgenti, and Madeline "Lena" Solimine; she is survived by her loving daughters, Mary Angela Iervolino of Towaco, and Laura Catalano of Lincoln Park; her "son," Al Iervolino; and her four very beloved grandchildren, Christina Angela Andalora, Stephanie Marie Catalano, Alex Leonard Iervolino, and Jenna Angela Iervolino.Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 22, 12:30pm at St. Pius X R.C. Church, Montville. The visitation and subsequent interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be private.
