Obituary of Raju K. Shah

Raju K. Shah passed away Saturday afternoon, March 18, 2023 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ surrounded by his family and following an extended illness. He was 76.

Born and raised in Baroda, Gujarat, India, he immigrated to the United States in 1987, settling in Bloomfield, NJ. He had been a resident of Lake Parsippany since 2004.

Mr. Shah was the owner and proprietor of a convenience store in Montclair, NJ before his retirement.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 49 years, Vishakha R. Shah (nee Desai); three loving children, Rakhi Shah Desai and her husband, Binal of Parsippany, NJ, Reena Miller and her husband, Eric of Colonia, NJ, and Rakesh Shah and his wife, Vishali of Parsippany, NJ; three dear siblings, Satish Shah of Columbia, SC, Prakash Shah of Sumter, SC, and Sandhya Shah of Chapel Hill, SC.; and five cherished grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Upendra Shah of India.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Puja Service on Monday, January 20, 2023, 1:00pm to 2:30pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service. Cremation will follow at Rosedale Crematory, Orange, NJ.
