Obituary of Theobald Eduard Drumm

Theobald Eduard Drumm peacefully passed away on April 11, 2023. He was 90 years old. Theobald was born in Stari Becej, Yugoslavia and was a longtime resident of Towaco and previously Pasadena CA.

Theobald was a U.S. veteran and bravely served our country in the United States Air Force from 1952 – 1956 at the end of the Korean War.

Mr. Drumm achieved his Bachelors degree in Education from William Paterson University. He was dedicated to his career as an Elementary School Teacher in Ringwood for over 35 years before retiring in 1994. Theobald also worked at the Towaco Post office, delivering mail, for 15 years.

In his leisure, Theobald enjoyed flying prop planes and taking long hiking trips through the desert in California.

Theobald was predeceased by his beloved wife Louise Harbeson Drumm in 2012. He is survived by his ten children, Matthew Drumm, Elizabeth Drumm, Sarah Woods (Jim), Rebecca Davis (James), Erika Bennington (Boyd), Adrienne Karon, Joshua Drumm, Benjamin Drumm, Nikolas Drumm, and Leah Bennett; eleven grandchildren, Ross, Liam, Sean, Trey, Connor, Riley, Keith, Kaleigh, Catrina, Logan, Alicia; and great grandchild Ayden.

Theobald is also survived by his sisters; Dora Van Vranken and Irmgard Zunk.

He is also predeceased by his brothers; Gerhard and Wally and sisters Claudia, Hedy, Erika and Hildegard.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 16 from 2:00 – 6:00 pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ 07034. Memorial Service to begin at 5:00 pm.
