Obituary of Fred I. Moscato

Fred Isadore Moscato passed away Friday afternoon, April 14, 2023 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. He was 85.

Born and raised in New York, NY, he came to Lake Hiawatha in 1969. The family relocated to Parsippany in 1980.

Mr. Moscato had been a salesman with the Beech Nut Corporation. He later worked as a deliveryman with the Newark Star Ledger newspaper before his retirement.

A longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle Church in Parsippany, he was also a member of the Baldwin Oaks Seniors.

Fred was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Mary Teresa Moscato (nee Hendel) in 2018; a dear son, Frank Moscato in 2005; and his siblings, Dolores Harrison and Frank Moscato.

Survivors include his loving son, Michael Moscato of Parsippany; and two dear sisters, Ann Tay and Fran Moscato.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Wednesday, April 19, 2023, 11:00am to 1:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service. Entombment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
