Obituary of Wilma McCombs
Wilma McCombs (nee Baxter) passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, April 25, 2023 at the Beebe Health Care Center in Lewes, DE following an extended illness. She was 89.
Born and raised in Bloomfield, NJ, she was a resident of East Stroudsburg, PA for 18 years, and the Pine Brook section of Montville Township for 10 years before recently moving to Delaware.
Mrs. McCombs had worked as a caretaker for many years preceding her retirement.
She is survived by her two loving daughters, Lynn Doherty (Felim) of Bloomfield, NJ and Eileen Johnson (Floyd) of Ocean View, DE; and four grandchildren, Joshua, Jonathan, Heather, and Caitlin. She will also be missed by her dear friends, Lynwood and Karen Walker. Wilma was preceded in death by her dear son, Lee McCombs and sister Betty McGill.
At the family's request, services and cremation will be private.
