Obituary of Shantaben Shah

Shantaben Shah passed away peacefully Monday morning, May 15, 2023 at Alaris at The Chateau in Rochelle Park, NJ surrounded by her devoted family. She was 89.

Born in Palaj, Gujarat, India, Mrs. Shah immigrated to the United States in 1985, settling in Lodi, NJ. She was a resident of Elmwood Park since 1998.

A homemaker, Mrs. Shah was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her five children and their spouses, Suresh Shah of Lodi, NJ, Janak Shah of Paramus, NJ, Parul Shah of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, Suman Shah of Elmwood Park, NJ, and Jayesh Shah of Saddle Brook, NJ; two brothers, Champak Shah and Yogesh Shah; four sisters, Vasuben Shah, Kailash Shah, Vina Shah, and Jyoti Zaveri; eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 18, 8:30am to 10:30am at the chapel at Rosedale Crematory, 408 Orange Road, Montclair, NJ 07042. Cremation will immediately follow.
