Obituary of Brenda Leung

Brenda Leung of Pine Brook, peacefully passed away on May 20th 2023. She was 67 years old.

Brenda was born in Canton, China to Sek Ho Fong and So Hing Wu. Brenda lived in Pine Brook for over 35 years.

She attended nursing school and became a registered nurse in Hong Kong and also achieved her Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from The City College of New York. She had worked at IBM and Pomeroy in the field of Information Technology.

In her leisure, Brenda taught beading at the Livingston Chinese School. She was an avid gardener and grew her own vegetables. Brenda enjoyed cooking and dining out seeking different tastes from different cultures and different parts of the world.

Brenda was always cheerful with a positive optimistic look on the world. She always helped others and even went far out of her way many many times. She was friendly, open, and loving. Above all Brenda was a loving and caring mother for her children and a perfect wife to her husband.

She is survived by her loving husband Stephen Leung. Beloved mother to son Derek Leung and his wife Danielle of Austin Texas, daughter Jessica Leung and her husband Derek of Austin Texas, and son Carlin Leung of Pine Brook. Adoring sister to Amy Chin and her husband Harry, Francis Fong and his wife Prudence, Godwin Fong and his wife Katherine, Wing Fong and his wife Mabel.

Visitation will be held on Saturday June 3rd from 1pm to 5pm. at S. J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Ave. Lake Hiawatha, NJ 07034. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 3pm during the visitation. Cremation will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Livingston Chinese School at PO Box 179, Livingston, NJ 07039. Checks payable to "Livingston Chinese School" and include "in honor of Brenda Leung". The donations will be disbursed for scholarships for the school year 2023-2024.
