Obituary of Emily C. Zuzzio

Emily C. Zuzzio (nee Valenza), 84, passed away peacefully Friday, May 26, 2023 at her Parsippany, NJ home surrounded by her family.

Born and raised in Newark, NJ, she had been a resident of Parsippany for the last 35 years.

A homemaker, Emily was also a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 61 years, William A. Zuzzio; two loving children, Marisa Walicky (Daniel) of Boonton and Anthony Zuzzio (Theresa) of Rockaway; her dear sister, Phyllis Valenza of Florham Park; brother-in-law, Michael Zuzzio (Diane); four cherished grandchildren, Lauren Burdash (James), Michele Walicky, Andrew Zuzzio, and Nicholas Zuzzio; a great-granddaughter, Emilia Mae Burdash; and several nieces.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 30, 11:00am at St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, Parsippany. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover. Visitation will be private.
