Obituary of Bhavanbhai Kalyanji Patel

Bhavanbhai Kalyanji Patel passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday June 3, 2023 at his Lake Hiawatha, NJ home. He was 97.

Born in Vada, Gujarat, India, Mr. Patel immigrated to the United States in 1993, settling in Jersey City, NJ. He had been a resident of the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany since 2015.

Mr. Patel had been a primary school teacher in Sisodra, India before his retirement.

Preceded in death by his wife Ramiben Patel in 1995 and several siblings; Bhavanbhai is survived by his three beloved children, Bhartiben Patel of Edgewater Park, NJ, Bharatkumar B. Patel of Lake Hiawatha, NJ, and Lalitaben B. Patel of Jersey City, NJ; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services on Tuesday, June 6, 12:00pm to 2:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha. Cremation will follow at 2:30pm at the Rosedale Crematory, Montclair.
