Obituary of Mukundkumar D. Prajapati

Mukundkumar Dahyabhai Prajapati passed away suddenly Wednesday evening, August 2, 2023 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. He had recently turned 60.

Born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, he had lived in Germany before immigrating to the United States to settle down in 1997. He had lived in Point Pleasant, NJ and West Caldwell, NJ before coming to Parsippany Troy-Hills in 2005.

Mr. Prajapati earned his Bachelors Degree in engineering from LD Engineering College in Gujarat, India, and his Masters Degree in engineering from Technische Universität in Berlin, Germany.

He and his wife created a beautiful life in Germany where they resided for 8 years. During their time in Germany they frequently traveled throughout Europe and loved to go on adventures with their friends.Their life in Germany became even more adventurous once they welcomed their first and only child.

He had worked as an engineer, most recently with A.G. Consulting of New York, NY, retiring in 2017.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Gitaben V. Prajapati; a loving son, Vedant M. Prajapati and his wife, Prachi Master of Morris Plains; three dear sisters, Kokilaben Prajapati, Padmaben Prajapati, and Ranjanben Prajapati all of India; and his cherished grandson, Vijay Prajapati. He was preceded in death by his brother, Rajnikant Prajapati; and a sister, Induben Prajapati.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Sunday, August 6, 9:00am to 11:00am at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. Cremation will follow at 11:30am at the Rosedale Crematory, Montclair.
