Obituary of Jaime Gochuico

Jaime Gochuico passed away Wednesday morning, August 9, 2023 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. He was 72.

Born in Caloocan, Philippines, Mr. Gochuico immigrated to the United States in 1986, settling in Brooklyn, NY. He had lived in Middletown, NY and West Orange, NJ, before coming to Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ in 1998.

Jaime earned his Bachelors Degree in industrial engineering from the University of the Philippines in Quezon City.

He had worked as a supervisor with the PNC2 Manufacturing Company of Nutley for many years, retiring in 2016. Previously, Jaime worked as an industrial and quality circle engineer at San Miguel Corporation in the Philippines.

Mr. Gochuico was a longtime parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church of Parsippany. An avid golfer, he was also a member of the SWAG (Filipino) Golf Club of New Jersey.

Preceded in death by his parents, the late Silvestre and Corazon (nee Flores) Gochuico; and his siblings, Antonio Gochuico and Robin Gochuico; he is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Nancy Figueroa; two beloved daughters, Geraldine Marie DeLuna and her husband, John of Paranaque, Philippines, and Stephanie Gochuico of Downingtown, PA; four dear siblings, Marisa Gochuico of the Philippines, Sylvia Claeys of Los Angeles, CA, Manuel Gochuico of Las Vegas, NV, and Ernest Gochuico of the Philippines; and his cherished granddaughter, Emery Rose Goldman of Downingtown, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Friday, August 18, 2023, 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, August 19, 2023, 1100am at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Parsippany. Private cremation will follow.
