Obituary of Savitaben D. Chothani

Savita D. Chothani (nee Dholaria) passed away peacefully early Monday morning, October 2, 2023 at her Parsippany home surrounded by her family. She was 82.

Born in Majevadi, Gujarat, India, Mrs. Chothani had immigrated to the United States in 2000. She was a resident of Parsippany-Troy Hills.

A homemaker, Mrs. Chothani was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Devji V. Chothani in 2020; as well as four of her siblings, Gordhanbhai Dholaria, Mathuradas Dholaria, Jayaben Rakholiya, and Jiviben Antala.

Survivors include her four beloved children, Kishor Chothani of Tulsa, OK, Pravina Sojitra of Fords, NJ, Kirit Chothani of Parsippany, NJ and Nilesh Chothani of Parsippany, NJ; a dear sister, Motiben Porshiya of India; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Puja Funeral Services on Thursday, October 5, 2023, 10:30am to 11:30am at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ 07034. Cremation will follow at Rosedale Crematory, Orange at 12:00pm.
