Obituary of Barbara N. Bried
Barbara N. Bried (nee Lauffer) peacefully passed away on November 2, 2023 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. She was 85 years old.
Barbara was born and raised in Paterson and had been a resident of Parsippany-Troy Hills for over 55 years.
Mrs. Bried graduated from East Side High School in Paterson.
She worked at Pfizer Inc. of Parsippany, NJ, and later at The Alfred Dunner Clothing Company, Parsippany, NJ for 18 years before retiring in 2004.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband, George E. Bried in 1995. She is survived by her beloved children, Carolyn Bried of Parsippany, NJ, and Vincent Bried of Effort, PA; a stepson, George Bried and his wife Victoria of Effort, PA. Barbara was a loving grandma to George, Zachery, Heather, Kristina and Brandon. She is also survived by her siblings, Kenneth Lauffer and his wife Carol Ann, James Lauffer and his wife Lynn, and Georgette Lauffer.
In her leisure Barbara enjoyed being active at the Parsippany Adult Community Center and watching softball games.
