Obituary of Camille J. Lombardo

Camille Josephine Lombardo (nee Ferrugio) passed away peacefully Saturday morning, December 2, 2023 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in Manhattan, NY. She was 53 years young.

Born and raised in the Gravesend section of Brooklyn, NY, Camille was a resident of Parsippany Troy-Hills for the last 17 years.

She earned her Associates Degree in Business from St. John's University in 1989. Mrs. Lombardo was a business manager with the New York City Department of Education for 23 years retiring earlier this year when she became ill.

She was a member of the New York City UFT Educator's Union.

Camille is survived by her beloved husband of 17 years, Francesco Lombardo; her cherished son, Francesco V. Lombardo, at home; her loving parents, Joseph P. and Catherine M. (nee Romano) Ferrugio of Parsippany; two dear brothers, Joseph A. Ferrugio and his wife, Robin of Flanders, NJ, and Anthony J. Ferrugio and his wife, Lina of Whippany, NJ.; and her nieces and nephews, Joseph, Gianna, Nico, Thomas, Sienna, Catherine Mary, and Andrew. She will also be deeply missed by her mother-in-law Jenny Lombardo of Parsippany; and her sister-in-law Julia Radulic and her husband, Fred of Parsippany; and their three sons, Joseph, Matthew and Nicholas.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, December 8, 2-5pm and 7-10pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 9, 2023 at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 781 Smith Road, Parsippany. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover.
