Obituary of Jude Orlando

Jude Orlando passed away peacefully Sunday evening, December 3, 2023 at Bayonne Hospital in Bayonne, NJ. He was 63 years young.

Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, he had been a resident and member of the Windmill Alliance in Bayonne, NJ for over 30 years.

A much loved son, brother, uncle and cousin, Jude was preceded in death by his parents, Frank T. and Beatrice (nee Forte) Orlando; and four siblings, Richard Orlando, Frank Orlando, Joseph Orlando, and Mary Habinowski.

He is survived by his sister, Geraldine Damato and her husband, Thomas of Paramus; eight nieces and nephews and many cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Sullivan Avenue, 40 Sullivan Drive (Greenville) Jersey City. A visitation will be held in the Daily Mass Chapel from 9:15am until 10:00am. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Main Sanctuary at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
