Obituary of Ann Mariash

Ann Mariash (nee Eliasberg) passed away suddenly Wednesday evening, December 27, 2023 at her residence in Briarcliff Manor, New York following an extended illness. She was 88.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Mrs. Mariash had been a resident of the Pine Brook section of Montville Township, NJ for over 54 years before moving to Briarcliff Manor three years ago.

Mrs. Mariash had worked as secretary to the Superintendent of Schools in Montville Township for many years preceding her retirement in 1992.

She was a longtime member of the Pine Brook Jewish Center in Montville, NJ.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 69 years, Raymond L. Mariash; two loving daughters, Julie Noble and her husband, Charles of White Plains, NY, and Michalle Mariash and her husband, Peter Alusitz of Yorktown Heights, NY; and two cherished grandchildren, Will and Sylvie Alusitz. Ann was preceded in death by her dear brother, Abraham Eliasberg.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, 12:00pn at Pine Brook Jewish Cemetery, Montville. For those so desiring, Memorial Gifts in Ann's memory can be made to the charity of one's choice.
