I have had the honor of knowing Carmen for many years. His enduring love of family, faith, strength and work ethic have taught everyone who knew him what an honorable and Godly man is. I loved his stories, his smile and devotion. December 30th, I had the rare opportunity to sit by Carmen at mass. He was determined to kneel and stand at the appropriate times no matter what pain he was in. I was amazed he remembered me. He patted my hand through mass and I squeezed his precious hand. Faithful to his wife of 71 years. What a wonderful blessing and legacy he leaves. To the family, I am sending prayers and love. Father John Tarantino has been a friend to our family and exemplifies so many qualities that Carmen lived by. Any card, cookie or
visit made him happy and he would sit and talk about his life experiences which are nothing short of amazing. I will truly miss him, I will cherish my memories and I will forever honor a good man. With love and gratitude, Cathy Ehrenfeld
