Margaret Blaine (nee Kapinowski) passed away peacefully Saturday Morning, January 13, 2024 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Morris Plains, NJ. She was 97.

Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Mrs. Blaine had been a resident of West Caldwell, NJ for over 70 years before moving to Morris Plains.

A homemaker, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Margaret was a longtime parishioner and choir member at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Caldwell. She was also a member of the North Caldwell Senior's Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Blaine. Survivors include her beloved daughter, Margaret "Peggy" Clark and her husband, Joseph M. Clark of Denville; three grandchildren, William Clark and his wife, Laura, Kelly Boger and her husband, Harry, and Christine Lyons and her husband, Shawn; and five great-grandchildren, Aidan Boger, John Clark, Declan Boger, Luke Lyons, and Scott Lyons.

A family gathering will be Thursday morning, January 18, 2024, 8:30am to 9:30am at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 18, 2024, 10:00am at Notre Dame of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Cedar Knolls. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair, NJ.
