Obituary of Erminia Bel-Tempo

Erminia Bel Tempo (nee Sardo), of Lake Hiawatha, NJ, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, January 15, 2024 at the Lincoln Park Renaissance Nursing Center in Lincoln Park, NJ. She was 81.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she moved to Emerson, NJ with her family as a child. She later lived in Lodi, NJ before coming to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ over 55 years ago.

Mrs. Bel Tempo had worked as a housekeeper in the Parsippany area for over 25 years before retiring.

Erminia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Paul Daniel "Danny" Bel Tempo in 2023. She is survived by her loving daughters, Denise Forrest and her husband, Jay of Pequannock, NJ, Dawn Herring and her husband, Bill of Texas; three dear siblings, Jean Haid of North Carolina, Ruth Ann Johnson of New Jersey, and John Sardo of New Jersey; four cherished granddaughters, Sarah, Hannah, Elena, and Rebecca; and a great-grandson, Jacob.
