Obituary of Gabriel Nolasco Canuto

Gabriel Nolasco Canuto passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ, following a sudden illness. He was 40 years old.

Born and raised in Azoyu, Guerrero, Mexico, he came to the United States at the age of 20 and has lived in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ.

Gabriel was a cook for many years at the Outback Steak House and McDonald's both in Parsippany. 

Preceded in death by his father, Alejandro Nolasco Celestino, Gabriel is survived by his loving mother, Lucia M. Canuto Cruz of Mexico, several siblings and a host of family and friends both in New Jersey and Mexico.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 6-9pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha. Gabriel's remains will be repatriated to Mexico and laid to rest in the Pantheon del Eterno Descanso in Marquelia, Guerrero, Mexico.
