Obituary of Jeffrey Beringer

Jeffrey Beringer passed away on May 4 at the age of 76.

He grew up in Mount Vernon, NY and moved to Ringwood 46 years ago.

Mr. Beringer earned his BS in Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology

He worked as a computer analyst for Atlantic Container Lines, EJR Associates, and TIAA CREF. After retirement, he was employed at The Home Depot of Riverdale.

An avid gardener, he was a member of Rutgers Master Gardeners of Passaic County. His main interest was home improvement, working tirelessly on both remodeling and automotive care. His joy was spending time with his family and his grandchildren.

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Arlene (nee Weiner) Beringer; his three beloved children; Jody Beringer and his wife, Kristi of Pompton Plains, NJ, Lisa Orsini of Saddle Brook, NJ, and Randy Beringer and his wife, Kara of Jones, OK, and his five cherished grandchildren, Riley and Carly Beringer, Gabriella and Alyssa Orsini, and Krew Beringer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Monday, May 6th at 1:00 at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (http://stjude.org) in Jeffrey's honor.
