Obituary of Vincenza M. Boccardo

Vincenza M. Boccardo (nee Lepore), known to all as "Vinnie," passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, May 11, 2024 at Merry Heart Assisted Living in Succasunna, NJ. She was 90.

Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Vincenza and her late husband, Pat moved to Parsippany-Troy Hills in 1968. She had lived the last 14 years in Succasunna, NJ.

Mrs. Boccardo had worked as a Secretary with Community Finance in Hackensack before her retirement many years ago.

She was a longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Parsippany.

Mrs. Boccardo was preceded in death by her loving husband Pasquale Boccardo; and her siblings Angelo (Sophia) Lepore and Livia (Matthew) Brigida. She is survived by her beloved son, John Boccardo and his wife, Tammy of Parsippany; and a brother, Patsy Lepore and his wife, Connie of Bloomfield.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, 2-4 & 7-9pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 15, 2024, 10:00am at St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, Parsippany. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
