John Z. Blahosky passed away Friday morning, June 7, 2024 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ. He was 93.

Born in St. Clair, PA, John had lived in Rutherford, NJ and Totowa, NJ before coming to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany, NJ 55 years ago.

A veteran of the United States Air Force, Mr. Blahosky earned his Bachelors Degree in Engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson College in 1960.

Mr. Blahosky had worked as an engineer with Merrimac Industries of Fairfield, NJ for 35 years before his retirement in 1999.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 68 years, Harriet Jane (nee Parry) Blahosky; two loving daughters, Linda Coleman and her husband David of Rockaway, NJ and Sharon McFadyen and her husband, Brian of Cave Creek, AZ; a dear sister, Jeanne Becher of Vero Beach and sister-in-law, Mathilda Blahosky of Scotch Plains, NJ; FL; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonathan and Jaclyn; as well as four great-grandchildren, Robert, Madeline, Oliver, and Quinn. He was preceded in death by eight siblings, Kay Brophy, Sophia Williams, Stephanie Devlin, Frances Blahosky, Joseph Blahosky, Helen Blahosky, Mary Lynagh, and Frederick Blahosky.

At the family's request, services will be held privately.
