Obituary of Jenyi Lin-Chern

Jenyi Lin-Chern passed away Sunday morning, June 16, 2024 at Morris View Nursing Home in Morris Township, NJ. She was 88.

Born in Taichung, Taiwan, Mrs. Lin-Chern immigrated to the United States in 1987, settling in Cedar Grove, NJ. She came to Parsippany-Troy Hills 25 years ago.

Mrs. Lin-Chern had been a health inspector with the Taipei Health Department in Taipei, Taiwan before her retirement many years ago.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hen Ming Lin; she is survived by three loving children, Yu Shen Lin of Taiwan, Sanyu "Sandy" Lin of Parsippany, NJ, and Tachun "Tim" Lin of Basking Ridge, NJ; three siblings in Taiwan; and four cherished grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, June 22, 2014, beginning at 10:00am at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. Funeral Services will be celebrated at 10:30am under the direction of Pastor Paul Shen of the Chinese Christian Church of Parsippany. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover, NJ.
