Obituary of Adela Margarita Galeas

Please share a memory of Adela to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness that the family of Adela Margarita Galeas (nee Bejarano) announces her sudden passing on Monday, July 22, 2024 in Morristown, New Jersey. She was 49 years young and full of joy. Born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, she immigrated to the United States with her parents and siblings 36 years ago, settling in Dover, New Jersey before moving to Rockaway Borough. In her early years, Margarita discovered a passion for cooking while helping take care of her younger siblings after school. She carried that enthusiasm for cooking into her adult life and was always eager to have her family try her latest creation. Margarita was the co-owner of Jireh General Services of Rockaway along with her husband, Ulises. She was no stranger to hard work, especially during the cold winter months when she would plow snow in the couple's large pickup truck. She loved a challenge and always got the job done. A lover of the beach, Margarita loved spending her summer weekends at the Jersey Shore or kayaking in local lakes with family and friends. She would always come back with great stories to tell and laughs to share. A recent hobby of Margarita's was shooting pool. Unsurprisingly to those that knew her, she gained popularity at the pool hall for her kind and friendly manner. Anyone who met Margarita as a stranger walked away as a friend. She was also a member of the Centro Biblico of New Jersey, Casa del Alfarero. Margarita was a beloved sister within her church community and many looked up to her and sought out her guidance. Her compassionate and generous spirit impacted the lives of so many inside and outside of the congregation. She would spend countless hours volunteering for different events and regularly worked in the Multi-media ministry at both the Dover and Morristown campuses. Margarita's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, friends, and fur babies. "Titi", as her nieces and nephews called her, loved and spoiled each child as her own, and they adored her just as much. Adela Margarita Galeas Bejarano will be remembered for her fun-loving nature, her nurturing soul, and generous heart, which she demonstrated until the very end of her time here on earth. May she rest in peace. Preceded in death by her big brother, Maximo Manuel Bejarano; she is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 22 years, Ulises Galeas; her cherished parents, Jose Manuel Bejarano and Diana Nury Caballeros of Rockaway; three loving siblings, twin, Jose Manuel Bejarano and his wife, Anna Maria De Bejarano of Honduras, Juan Edgardo Bejarano and his wife Katherine Bejarano of Randolph, and Nury Rebeca Salnick and her husband, Jeff Salnick of Rockaway; two step-children, Jackie Galeas and husband Evans Jimenez and Ulises Galeas Jr. of Florida; many nieces and nephews, grandson Milan, and her dearest girlfriends ("Las Divas"). Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial celebration of Margarita's life on Monday, July 29th, 2024 from 9am to 12pm at Centro Biblico of NJ, Casa del Alfarero, Dover Campus (Baker Theater) at 41 W Blackwell St. Dover, NJ 07801. Entombment will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, 225 Ridgedale Ave. East Hanover, NJ 07936.
