Obituary of Edna Javellana

Edna Javellana (nee Sanchez) passed away peacefully Sunday morning, August 11, 2024 at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ following an extended illness. She was 90.

Born and raised in New York, NY, Mrs. Javellana had been a resident of Hartsdale, NY, and Freehold, NJ, before coming to the Pine Brook section of Montville Township, NJ in 1971.

She had earned her Bachelor's Degree from the City College of New York, NY.

Mrs. Javellana was employed as a secretary and administrative assistant with McGraw-Hill Publishers of New York, NY for many years, retiring 27 years ago.

Preceded in death by her parents, Raoul and Clara (Petito) Sanchez, she is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Arthur C. Javellana.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, 2-4 & 7-9pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Bevewyck Road, Lake Hiawatha, NJ. The funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday, August 15, 2024, 10:30am in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover.
