Fred and I worked together in the Queens Post office and phone conversations even after he went to PA. A genuine friend who would call often but especially on each others birthdays. I knew something happened when I did not receive his pleasant call to wish me a happy 82nd birthday on September 14th.
A friend helped me to find the obituary notice for a truly wonderful man who loved to keep in touch. I already miss him and our conversations. I recently had asked him to pass on my information to his family , just in case, but I guess that did not happen.
