Obituary of Harriet Jane Blahosky

Harriet Jane Blahosky (nee Parry) passed away peacefully Monday morning, September 2, 2024 at her Parsippany, NJ home in the presence of her daughters. She was 93.

Born in St. Clair, PA, Mrs. Blahosky had lived in Rutherford, NJ and Totowa, NJ before coming to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany, NJ 55 years ago.

Mrs. Blahosky was an executive secretary with Fram Automotive in Pine Brook before retiring over 40 years ago. In her younger years, she had worked as a secretary at Montville Township High School, and with the Central Intelligence Agency.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, John Z. Blahosky earlier this year, and her parents, John E. and Emma M. (nee Thomas) Parry; she is survived by two loving daughters, Linda Coleman and her husband, David of Rockaway, NJ and Sharon McFadyen and her husband, Brian of Cave Creek, AZ; two sisters-in-law, Jeanne Becher of Vero Beach, Fl, and Mathilda Blahosky of Scotch Plains, NJ; three dear grandchildren, Jennifer Morgan, Jonathan Coleman, and Jaclyn McFadyen; and four cherished great-grandchildren, Robert Morgan III, Madeline Morgan, Oliver Morgan, and Quinn Coleman.

Funeral services will be private.
